The performance was a site-specific immersive experience inspired by Sophocles’ “Oedipus Rex” that responds to the utilitarian architecture of the empty former Archway Whittington Hospitals Furnival building. The performance leads the audience through the unravelling of the central character, Detective O, as his intention to solve a murder brings to light dark secrets and terrifying prophecies.
This was a collaboration project between the MA students at Mountview and BA Theatre Arts students at Middlesex.
